This style is made from 65% RWS Merino wool. The RWS (responsible wool standard) provides a benchmark for animal welfare and land management practices in sheep farming and improves traceability. The standard is designed to provide the industry with the best tools to verify that global sheep farmers can achieve best practices, ensure that wool comes from sheep that are treated humanely and that advanced approaches are used to manage their land and farms, and to build communication and understanding between farmers, consumers and brands. This wool also has carbon footprint certification. 30% Recycled Nylon is used to add elasticity to the yarn, it requires significantly less energy and resources to produce than virgin nylon. Plus 5% Alpaca to add extra softness in this yarn.
